WHAT IS LASER & HOW LASER WORKS?
LASER HAIR REMOVAL is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures in the U.S. If your are not happy or tired of shaving, tweezing, or waxing to remove unwanted hair, Laser Hair Removal is the best answer for you and may be a worth considering option.

Gentle Max Pro Laser Hair Removal is a non-invasive procedure which safely and permanently reduce and removes unwanted facial and body hair.
Laser is a device that generates an intense beam of coherent monochromatic light to remove unwanted hair. It delivers concentrated beam of light into the hair follicle and pigments (melanin) in the follicles absorb the light and convert into heat energy that destroys the germ cell responsible for hair growth without harming the surrounding tissues and skin.
Laser hair removal works best on brown and black hairs, it is one of the best option for hair removal, however, it does not work on gray / white hairs since there is no pigments to target, but we got you covered in that case too. Because here, at A-One Laser Clinic, we offers Electrolysis treatments as well and that works on all skin types and all hair types including gray and white.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
BEFORE & AFTER
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
WHAT IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction. Laser is a devise that deliver an intense beam of coherent monochromatic light. Light is then absorbed by the pigment in the hair and convert into heat energy which destroys/ burns the hair follicles without harming the surrounding skin tissues and skin.
HOW MANY TREATMENT SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
Every individual is unique and responds differently to the laser, therefore number of treatment sessions varies from person to person. The number of treatments also depend on many factors such as density of the hairs and area of the treatment. Hormonal area needs more sessions compared to other areas. A series of treatment is recommended for the desired results.
WHEN SHOULD I GET THE FOLLOW-UP TREATMENT?
The follow-up treatment is recommended as per the hair growth cycle. Hair growth cycle is different for different body parts, therefore, session would be scheduled accordingly. (4-8 weeks apart).
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF LASER HAIR REMOVAL?
Yes, it's very common to see some redness (erythema) and swelling (Edema). This will last for 2-3 hours to one day.
CAN LASER BE PERFORMED ON TANNED SKIN ( SUNTAN AND ARTIFICIAL TAN) ?
No, never. Sun-exposure increases the formation of melanin in the skin. Since, the Laser energy targets melanin, it increases the potential for hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin), hypo-pigmentation (lightening of the skin) or blistering from the treatment. Please tell the laser technician when was your last sun-exposure.
