How does CHEMICAL PEELS Work?

The VI Peel solution is applied by your clinician in a few layers. You will simply wash it off at home after 4 hours and follow our provided aftercare program. Around day 3, your skin may peel or flake.

 

VI Peels focus on lifting and exfoliating dead skin cells, allowing our body to produce new cells that are healthier and less pigmented. The process of exfoliation also smooths the surface of skin creating softer, smoother texture.

 

By day 7, you will see clearer, healthier skin!

How chemical peels feel like, depends on the type, depth and strength of peel. With some peels you expect some heat, prickly and itching sensation during treatment. Some peels are self neutralize and do not need to remove while some peel solutions typically don’t needs to stay on the skin for very long. The discomfort from peel is usually short lived, and tolerable by everyone.

IMPORTANT AFTERCARE TIPS

• Vi Peel aftercare instructions are important, please note, as VI Peel are self-neutralizing; avoid washing or applying any topical products to skin for 4 hours. Remember to use VI Post Peel Towelettes. They must be applied to the skin over all peeled areas. Please remember to use the towelette over the entire face / neck or treated area, avoiding the eyelids and lips. Hands should be washed immediately after each use of the towelettes. For Patient to apply a thin layer of the VI Derm Post-Treatment Repair Cream 10 min.
